Descriptif du poste

The Operations Manager oversee the entire operations of a lodging establishment. Operations include human resources, housekeeping, security, guest relations, food service. The Operations Manager seeks to create a positive and exciting team-oriented environment. He/she oversees the daily operations of all departments in coordination with a supervisor (based in another country).

THE MISSION
Plan and direct the hotel main operations including quality, standards, cleanliness, guest satisfaction.

Promote a Mama culture of excellence in guest care through a warm welcome and a desire to exceed expectations.

Promote a positive employee relations culture through effective communication and regular team meetings.

Create a warm, welcoming environment which fosters collaboration across all departments and team members.

Provide motivational and inspiring leadership through effective communication, coaching, training, and development.

Apply and coach others on MAMA Shelter’s standard operational procedures.

Ensure with an eye for talent – partner & departement leaders that all news hire are brand appropriate and develops potiential leaders.

Oversee and manage a team of 50+ team members, with respect to MAMA’s unique workplace culture.

Schedule, lead, & actively participate daily, weekly, quarterly leadership meetings and attend regular staff training sessions.

Maintain and exceeds local health and safety food standards.

Control food and beverage costs, analyzing menus and ensuring standards of services are in line with MAMA Standards.

Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of physical property in conjunction with Engineering team through regular follow up.

Other Duties as assigned.

Profil recherché

• You have more than 5 years experience in a similar role in the hotel industry.
• You’re a visible leader and will maintain a strong floor presence.
• You are passionate about Hospitality and are goal driven.
• You function well in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a challenge.
• Your attention to detail is second to none.
• You’ve never met a problem which you could not find a solution to.
• Ability to represent Mama Shelter's brand, its image and reputation.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
• Must have the ability to work flexible work hours including evenings and weekends and holidays.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional guest service and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, warm, and outgoing personality.
